Variations and noteThis is an after dinner cocktail. You can also serve it in a double cocktail glass or in a margarita glass (sombrero). There are many legends about its origin. It seems that it was created by Danny Herrera, who owned Rancho La Gloria between Rosarito Beach and Tijuana. In the late 1940s, one of his guests, a showgirl, could drink only mixed tequila. So Danny invented a lot of mixtures: the best was known all over the world as Margarita. There are many cocktails based on Tequila such as: Midori Margarita or Sames Margarita
