Porto Flip cocktail

Identity Card

Type: flips (IBA version)

Alcoholic level: alcoholic

Basic liqueur: Red Porto

Equipment: shaker

Glassware: small Goblet

Garnish: undecorated

Ingredients:

  • 2/10 Brandy
  • 6/10 Red Port
  • 2/10 egg yolk
  • A pinch of nutmeg

How to make it:

Place some ice cubes in the shaker and add all the ingredients but nutmeg. Shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds and strain into the glass. Nutmeg on top. The cocktail is ready.

Variations and note:

If you prefer a sweeter taste, you have to add 2 tablespoons of cane sugar. It isn't very easy to add 2/10 egg yolk. You can use this recipe too: 2 drops of Brandy, 4 cl red Porto, an egg yolk and 2 tablespoons cane sugar, if you want. Nutmeg on top. You have to serve it after dinner.
