Whiskey Sour cocktail

Identity Card

Alcoholic level: alcoholic

Basic liqueur: Bourbon Whiskey

Equipment: shaker

Glassware: small Goblet

Garnish: undecorated

Ingredients:

  • 4/10 Bourbon Whiskey
  • 4/10 lemon juice
  • 2/10 sugar syrup
  • A dash of egg white

How to make it:

Place some ice cubes in the shaker and add all the other ingredients. Shake for 6-8 seconds and strain into the glass. Serve undecorated. The cocktail is ready.

Variations and note:

You can also serve this cocktail in a double cocktail glass. It's an after dinner cocktail and it belongs to the sour drinks. Other whiskies, spirits and liqueurs may be used as a base for sours. It was created at the beginning of the last century in U.S.A.
