Bentley cocktail

Identity Card

Alcoholic level: alcoholic

Basic liqueur: Calvados, Dubonnet Vermouth

Equipment: mixing glass

Glassware: cocktail glass

Garnish: undecorated

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Calvados
  • 1/2 Dubonnet Vermouth

How to make it:

Place some ice cubes in the mixing glass and add the other ingredients. Mix with the bar spoon and pour into the glass. The cocktail is ready.

Variations and note:

It's a very old cocktail, well known all over the world. It was dedicated to "Bentley" (English car industry). Recently it was modified; if you add 2 dashes of Crème de Cassis and half a bottle of Soda Schweppes, it becomes a tasty long drink (Bentley 2nd R.). You can serve it all day, before lunch or dinner too!
