Our favorite winery
Le Carline. This Agricultural Company produces a wide range of DOC and IGT wines from high-quality organic grapes.
The company is certified by NOP in addition to the classic ICEA certification and therefore its wines can also be exported in the United States.
It is a great merit to overcome the standards set by the NOP, a so great merit to be proud of.
There are a lot of wines made by Le Carline. Read their page to know them. The list of awards is long and all these awards have been rightly deserved considered the efforts, enthusiasm and competence of the owner, Daniele Piccinin. Note among the last awards their extra-dry sparkling Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carline Rosso IGT Veneto Orientale, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.

Summer 2010. Holidays in Caorle near Venice on the coast of the Adriatic Sea.
One evening, during our daily walk in the old town of Caorle, Carlo and I entered into a wine shop: 500vini
A characteristic wine shop, well stocked with wines and with many visitors.
Among the wines we bought that evening there was also a bottle of Verduzzo by Le Carline.
The day after we uncorked the bottle for our aperitif and accompanied it with crostini garnished with smoked fish.
A choice completely different from the tips on the label (desserts, cakes, pies, cookies, biscuits) ... but you know ... we often make unusual combinations, always looking for new flavors that can satisfy both the palate and spirit.
Verduzzo is a sparkling wine. It's velvety with an intense bouquet. We liked very much the contrast between these characteristics and the flavor of smoked fish.
On the other hand we are used to serve sparkling wine, to be paired with dessert, as aperitif in Italy.
What's the moral of this story? we were again in the shop wine the evening after to inquire about the company Le Carline and after a few days in the headquarters of the farm.
The owner, Daniele Piccinin, offered us a tasting of his wines produced from certified organic grapes.
From velvety white wines to Lison (ex Tocai), from Merlot to Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.
Intense bouquet, the wine that really tastes of grapes, full flavors that leave an intense aftertaste.
This is how our love for these wines was born. The owner was able to communicate us all the passion for his work, his courage and determination, his great knowledge and enthusiasm in the new techniques.
In fact the company also offers wines without sulfites. Not to be missed!
