Bacardi cocktail

Identity Card

Type: short (IBA version)

Alcoholic level: alcoholic

Basic liqueur: White Rum

Equipment: shaker

Glassware: double cocktail glass

Garnish: undecorated


  • 6/10 White Rum
  • 3/10 fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 1/10 Grenadine

How to make it:

Place some ice cubes in the shaker and add all the other ingredients. Shake for 6-8 seconds and strain into the chilled glass. Serve undecorated. The cocktail is ready.

Variations and note:

This cocktail was born in Cuba. At the beginning people used 4 drops of Grenadine; nowadays its taste is more mellow because Grenadine dose is increased. It's a pre dinner cocktail.
