Crema con zucca e patate
Pumpkin & potatoes cream
- 500 g (1,1 lb) peeled pumpkin
- 500 g (1,1 lb) peeled potatoes
- 500 ml (16 fl oz - 2 C) milk
- 2 tablespoons dried chives
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Salt

Steam pumpkin and potatoes. Purée them and put in a saucepan with milk, dried chives and nutmeg.
Season to taste with salt and cook over a medium heat stirring with a wooden spoon until mixture is
smooth. Milk dose is indicative; you can vary it according your taste.
Serve hot.
Note
If you use low-fat milk, this is a light recipe of course.
