Buck's Fizz cocktail

Identity Card

Type: sparkling (IBA version)

Alcoholic level: low-alcohol recipe

Basic liqueur: Champagne

Equipment: directly in the glass

Glassware: champagne flute

Garnish: undecorated

Ingredients:

  • 6/10 chilled Champagne
  • 4/10 orange juice

How to make it:

Squeeze the orange and pour the juice into the glass that must be very cold. Remember to pass the juice through a strainer. Add Champagne. The cocktail is ready.

Variations and note:

The cocktail is also known as "Mimosa". You can serve it before a meal. It was created by Mr McGarry, a barman at the Buck's Club in London in 1921.
