Bobby Burns cocktail

Basic liqueur: Whisky, Red Vermouth

Equipment: mixing glass

Glassware: cocktail glass

Garnish: undecorated

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Whisky
  • 1/2 Red Vermouth
  • 3 drops Bénédectine

How to make it:

Place some ice cubes in the mixing glass and add the other ingredients. Mix with the bar spoon and pour into the glass. Squeeze a rind of lemon over the surface to add fragrance. The cocktail is ready. This cocktail is very old and well known in the world. It was called "Bobby Burns" by a barman and a customer of his, in France, in honour of the English poet.
