- Negro Amaro (80 - 100%), Malvasia Nera di Brindisi and/or di Lecce and/or Montepulciano (0 - 20%)

- from barely bright coral pink to light cherry red
- Aroma:
- winy, delicate and characteristic, if young even lightly fruity

- dry, velvety, with a typical bitterness, agreeable
