to accompany the entire meal but especially for pasta and rice with meat sauce, pasta and pulses, roast chicken or turkey; Riserva can be matched with seasoned cheeses and red meat
- Production area of Nardò Rosso DOC:
- geographic areas in the municipalities of Nardò and Porto Cesareo in province of Lecce along the Gulf of Taranto coast
- Vine selection :
- Negro Amaro (80 - 100%), Malvasia Nera di Brindisi and/or di Lecce and/or Montepulciano (0 - 20%)
- Colour:
- more or less intense ruby red with orange highlights with aging
- Aroma:
- winy with intense aroma
- Taste:
- harmonious, not very bitterish, velvety and correctly tannic
- Minimum alcohol content:
- 11.5%
- Aging:
- up to 3 years

- Riserva (12.5% - it must age 2 years and so it can be preserved up to 5 - 6 years
- Serving temperature of wine Nardò Rosso:
- Serve the wine at: 61 - 64°F (16 - 18°C)
