Production area of Rosso Piceno DOC:
wide stretch of land running from Ascoli Piceno to the south of Senigallia, encompassing Ancona, the regional capital; its grapes can be grown in the hills up to 700 m

Montepulciano (35 - 70%), Sangiovese (30 - 50%), others (0 - 15%)

ruby red more or less intense

characteristic, delicate
Taste:
harmonious, agreeably bone-dry
