This may be a good, alternative idea for decorating our Easter table with an original
centerpiece or for making a gift.
It is very easy to make it but you have to choose the colours carefully in order to combine them very well.
Divide the marzipan into three parts; colour every piece with one of the natural colours.
Spread with icing sugar a work surface and roll every coloured piece of marzipan out to a thickness of 1/2in. Using different pastry cutter or a
sharp knife, cut out decorative shapes, such as hearts, squares, triangles, leaves, petals, butterflies ... We made
flowers and butterflies. You can glue them on the surface of the egg with icing sugar diluted with few drops of water.
As soon as you've decoarted the chocolate egg, you can finish your work: line the basket with the voile, arrange the
little chocolate eggs on the bottom and put over your decorated chocolate egg.
Your "sweet basket" is ready.
